Lenticchia secca rossa dal colore più acceso e vivo, detta anche ‘lenticchia egiziana’.

Ha un alto contenuto di proteine, sali minerali e vitamina B, fibre in quantità maggiore rispetto alla normale lenticchia verde ed anche meno grassi rispetto a questa. Non necessita di ammollo. Avendo origine orientale si abbina perfettamente al cous cous, è possibile preparare zuppe da servire come primo piatto o contorno, abbinate a riso o altri cereali. Può essere un ottimo addensante per le minestre.]]></description>
